Privacy policy
Last updated: 2026
This page is an English translation of our Spanish legal notice, provided for your convenience. It is governed by Spanish law; in case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version (Aviso legal) prevails. Solaria Studio respects your privacy and processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD) and other applicable data protection regulations.
1. Data controller
Controller: Solaria Studio.
Individual: Ricardo Miguel Tagg (natural person).
Tax ID (NIF/NIE): Y0007809A.
Contact email: hola.solariastudio@gmail.com.
Location: Fuerteventura, Canarias, Spain (postal code 35610).
No data protection officer has been appointed, as it is not required under the controller’s current circumstances.
2. Scope
This policy applies to the processing of personal data carried out through the website https://www.solaria.studio, including the contact form and communications initiated by the user with the controller.
It does not apply to third-party websites linked from the Site.
3. Personal data we process
Identifying and contact data: email address.
Request data: type of project, indicative budget, intended start date, notes or free-text message provided in the form.
Minimal technical data: the controller may incidentally record metadata associated with the communication (for example, date and time of submission) for management and security purposes.
Call-scheduling data: if you use the Cal.com widget to book a call, Cal.com collects your name, email address, timezone and event details directly, acting as an independent controller or processor under its own privacy policy; this Site does not handle that form.
We do not request special categories of data. Please do not send us sensitive information through the form.
4. Purposes and legal basis
Managing and responding to contact, quote or information requests: performance of pre-contractual measures at the request of the data subject (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) and, where applicable, the data subject’s consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR) when submitting the form.
Maintaining the business or professional relationship arising from the request: performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
Complying with legal obligations applicable to the controller, where relevant (Art. 6.1.c GDPR).
Preventing abuse, spam or fraudulent use of the form: legitimate interest of the controller in protecting its systems and contact channels (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
5. Retention period
Data submitted through the form will be kept for the time necessary to handle the request and, subsequently, for the periods necessary to manage a possible business relationship.
After a reasonable period without a contractual relationship being established, the data may be deleted or anonymized, unless there is a legal obligation to retain it.
Communications linked to active clients will be kept for the duration of the relationship and, afterwards, for the applicable legal limitation periods.
6. Recipients and data processors
We do not transfer personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.
We use Web3Forms (api.web3forms.com) as the delivery service for our contact form, and Cal.com as our call-scheduling platform, acting as data processors or, in the case of call booking, as independent controllers under their own policies.
These providers may be located inside or outside the European Economic Area. In the event of international transfers, we will adopt the safeguards provided for in the GDPR.
7. Rights of data subjects
You may exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, where applicable.
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the withdrawal.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) if you consider that the processing does not comply with the applicable regulations.
8. Exercising your rights
To exercise your rights, write to hola.solariastudio@gmail.com indicating the right you wish to exercise and providing proof of your identity when necessary.
The controller will respond within the legally established period.
9. Source of the data
In general, personal data comes directly from the data subject when completing the contact form or communicating with the controller.
We do not process data obtained from external sources for commercial purposes through this Site.
10. Automated decisions and profiling
We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that produce legal effects on the user or significantly affect them in a similar way.
11. Minors
The Site is not directed at minors under 14 years of age.
If we detect that we have received data from a minor without the valid consent of their legal guardian, we will proceed to delete it.
12. Cookies and similar technologies
The Site does not use its own analytics, advertising or profiling cookies.
The embedded call-scheduling widget (Cal.com) may set its own cookies or technical storage once loaded, governed by Cal.com’s own cookie policy.
Beyond that, only cookies or technical storage strictly necessary for the operation of the Site may be used.
For more information, see also the cookies section of the legal notice.
13. Security
The controller applies reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, destruction or alteration.
However, no transmission or storage system on the Internet is completely secure.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy to reflect legal, technical or processing changes.
The current version will always be available at this URL, with an indication of the update date.
